Parents Awake
This site is dedicated
to better enable all the wonderful parents to
contact each other. Personal differences and idiosyncrasies
are unimportant. Children need parents who use natural intelligence.
There is no longer the luxury of deathly indifference, petty dislikes
or ideology schisms. Children's needs are simple, they are few and what
is good for them turns out to be good for us also. Isn't nature wonderful!
And besides, we learn from each other, we learn to laugh at ourselves and if we
use our intelligence we copy the best in others, as a child does and has fun doing so.
Spending time with each other is a primary human need, the fulfillment of which
provides a much need security and sense of wellbeing for both parent and child,

To practice organic parenting is to
be dedicated to life. This requires the parent
to retain the responsibility for a child's wellbeing,
rather than handing it over to others ie child-raising
books, medical professionals, education and
other government departments.
This personal responsibility is a sacred gift.
This natural instinct so keenly felt can often put parents
at odds with family and friends. Many parents experience
on one hand, a weeping for joy at the beauty of a child
and on the other, a sorrowful weeping at the meddlings
and judgement under which parents often labour. Yet
despite outside pressure, when a parent chooses
to live instinctively, guided by this natural
child, all sorrows give way to joy.
